Hey this is a BIG thank you to everyone that contributed to the James Brown Tribute at The Unit on Saturday!
Thank you to all the DJ’s representing that the funk scene is alive in the second city…Mr CheeseDip and Jools Belgium from Sweat, Roy RoastBeef and Revo from FunkBox, Dr Tra from Moo in Leamington, Ollie 45 from The Yardbird, Cro from Main Ingredient offering some funk infused Hip Hop and support…! Thank you to Bobblin Hot from Mama Feel Good! for playing Ripple!.
A massive Thank you to all the musicians that came down, and thank you to Frank moon who orchestrated a nine piece JB inspired funk Jam, which featured the likes of Fly, Damon and Nobby from Munchbreak, Paradox, Andre, Ed, Spike, Andy Sax and guest vocals from Indigo and lyrics from Mark W.
